Is there a US version of the Daiwa Emeraldas X BOAT?
We could not find the Emeraldas X BOAT by name in Daiwa’s 2026-27 US catalog (printed, July 2026), so the sizes and specs on this page are the Japan-market ones. Sellers who ship from Japan are the usual source for this exact model in the US; a US dealer may still carry a related model under a different name.

About this item

- The shortest packed length is 94 cm (37.0 in) (511MLS-S·E).
- Weights run from 78 g (2.8 oz) on the 511MLS-S·E to 89 g (3.1 oz) on the 65MLS IL·E.

- Japan list price ¥19,800–¥22,000, which is in the bottom quarter (by Japan list price) of the 1440 rod series we list.
- Rated by Daiwa for PE line #0.4–#1.
- Casting an "egi" squid jig from the shore — a Japanese style now popular worldwide.
- Sizes marked go (号) are the Japanese standard. For sinkers one go is exactly 3.75 g, so we convert it; for line it is a diameter class rather than a breaking strain, so we print the maker's number as published.
